Marchmont

Marchmont is a nine-page Framer site for a residential brokerage that handles forty to fifty houses a year and would rather talk about the eight postcodes it knows than the thirty it does not. It is built for the kind of firm whose advantage is judgement, and whose website usually undersells that.

Every edge in it is a one-pixel rule. There are no drop shadows, no rounded corners and no stock-photo gradients. The photography is the only source of colour on the page. It reads as considered rather than decorated, which is the point: a brokerage that looks careful about a website looks careful about a sale.

The layout is a ruled index, not a card grid. Properties, services, people and journal entries all sit on the same hairline system, so adding a listing never breaks the rhythm.

Nine collections drive it, so nothing is typed twice. A house entered once appears in the index, in the filtered views, on its own detail page, and in the related homes at the foot of every other house. The filters are wired rather than styled, and they write themselves into the address bar, so a filtered view can be sent to a seller as a link.
